International Funding

Internationally, we contribute to multi-centre, coordinated efforts to investigate disease risk factors, early detection and prevention strategies, genetic predisposition and cancer-related mutation. These have been funded through peer-reviewed grants from:

o National Institute of Health (USA) - Transdisciplinary Research in Cancer of the Lung (TRICL); International Lung Cancer Consortium (ILCCO).
o International Association for Research on Cancer - SYNERGY project
o EU Framework 5 - European Early Lung Cancer (EUELC) Project
o EU Framework 7 - CURELUNG: The (epi)genetics of Lung Cancer
o EU Framework 7 - LCAOS: A Nanoscale Artificial Nose to easily detect Volatile Biomarkers at Early stages of Lung Cancer and Related Genetic Mutations
